GRAND FORKS - A Grand Forks man suffered minor injuries when the pickup he was driving collided with an Amtrak train Thursday morning. The crash happened on a gravel road, about a mile SW of Grand Forks just before 7:30 a.m. Troopers say the 60-year old hit the lead engine of the train. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance. A passenger in the pickup was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
