Woman dies in crash on flooded road in Rolette County

CANDO, ND - A 54-year old Cando, North Dakota woman died in a rollover on a flooded road in Rolette County Sunday morning. The Sheriff's Office says the woman was traveling on Highway 66 from Cando at around 7:45 a.m. when she lost control on the road which was covered with water due to overnight snow melt.  Her SUV went into the ditch and flipped over, landing on its roof in the water-filled ditch.  The woman's name has not been released.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
