(Medora, ND) -- The fate of livestock in Theodore Roosevelt National Park is being discussed.

Members of the public were given a chance to speak about options that could include removing horses and cattle during a virtual public hearing Thursday.

Herd sizes could be reduced over the course of several years.

Critics say removing the animals would detract from the park experience.
