South Dakota's Highway Patrol's newest assistant superintendent is 21-year vet

(Pierre, SD) -- A 21-year veteran of the South Dakota Highway Patrol has become its newest assistant superintendent.  Captain Jason Ketterling has most recently been captain of the Highway Patrol operations in western South Dakota.  He joined the patrol in 2000 and has worked in the Badlands area and in Rapid City.  Captain Ketterling will oversee administrative and special operations.
