Lakeville Community rallying behind well loved teacher after traumatic brain injury

(Lakeville, MN) -- The Lakeville School District is receiving an outcry of support after a veteran school teacher Richard Larson went to the ICU.

Richard Larson, a 28-year veteran in the Lakeville School District, slipped on ice and hit his head. The resulting injury formed into a traumatic brain injury, and forced Larson into the ICU. 

The community rallied around the teacher. A GoFundMe was set up with a $1,000 goal. As of December 22, the donation total reached $23,685. On the page, you can see nearly three hundred donations, many of which telling a story about Richard Larson and how he was special to them.
