(Washington, DC) -- President Biden sent a letter to the major news outlets, asking they "scrutinize" his House impeachment inquiry.
The White House letter urges news organizations to call out what it says are lies and misinformation spread by Republicans.
The man who launched the inquiry, Speaker Kevin McCarthy, said it's concerning that the President would tell the press what to say.
McCarthy added he would hope the press would want to get to the bottom of Republican allegations that President Biden benefited from his son Hunter Biden's overseas business deals.
