White House: Cocaine found In "heavily-traveled" area of West Wing

(Washington, DC)  --  The Secret Service is investigating how a small bag of cocaine ended up in the White House.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday it was found in a "heavily-traveled" area where many West Wing visitors walk through.

She noted President Biden and his family were away at Camp David when the drugs were discovered by Secret Service Sunday.

The discovery led to a brief evacuation of the White House.
