(Washington, DC) -- Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is running for reelection.
The California Democrat officially announced Friday she'll run for another term in 2024.
This comes after Pelosi decided last year to step down as the lead of the House Democratic caucus.
She was the first female speaker and has served in Congress since 1987.
