(Pittsburgh, PA) -- The Uber Eats delivery that stopped a college basketball game has turned out to be a prank.
Wednesday night's game between Loyola Chicago and Duquesne came to a halt when a delivery man stepped on the court near the three-point line holding an order from McDonald's.
One of the referees whistled for a timeout as the delivery man was ushered off the court.
In a statement Thursday, officials at Duquesne University said they have determined that the whole thing was a prank "done for internet exposure."
