(Burdwan, India) -- An Indian man was arrested last weekend after he allegedly chopped off his wife's hand while she slept.
Police in the state of West Bengal say the 26-year-old man didn't want his wife to take a job at government hospital, which might have required her to move to another city.
The 23-year-old woman is hospitalized in stable condition.
