(Heathrow, FL) -- The pain at the pump isn't getting any better Tuesday.

Triple-A puts the new national average at three-50 a gallon, up five cents from last week and 20-cents from last month. The main reason is the high cost of crude oil. High demand has sent those prices topping 92-dollars a barrel.

Drivers in California continue to pay the most at four-71 followed by Hawaii at four-47. The cheapest place to fill up is Mississippi at three-16.

Here in Fargo, the average price is $3.31 per gallon.
