(Atlanta, GA) -- Eighteen holes of golf usually takes around four hours to play, but one golfer is finishing his round in half that time.
Joaquin Niemann completed the final round of the Tour Championship on Sunday in just under two hours. One player at the same course five years ago finished his round in one hour and 59 minutes but Niemann's round clocked in at one hour and 53 minutes.
However, he nearly got in trouble afterward. A PGA Tour executive informed Niemann he was disrespectful of the game and the tournament for how quickly he finished his round. He was threatened with a ten-thousand-dollar fine before the executive revealed the threat was only a joke.
