Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney says officer body cam video from deadly shooting will soon be released

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney says video will soon be released from body cameras worn by Fargo Police officers during the deadly shooting July 14th. 

"Hopefully in two to three weeks we'll release the tapes. Drew Wrigley states he's working vigorously on those and there's just, as you know body cameras now, we have so many tapes to go through," said Mahoney.  

Mahoney says some of the images captured on video have to be redacted to make the video appropriate for viewing by the public. 

The mayor appeared on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
