Grand Forks restaurant damaged after vehicle hits building

(Grand Forks, ND) -- Police say 17-year-old girl is being cited for reckless driving after driving through the entrance of a restaurant.

Police say the unnamed teen lost control of her vehicle then drove through the entrance of Red Pepper on South Washington Street. The driver and no one in the restaurant was hurt. 

Investigators say the crash caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the front entrance of the building where the crash occurred.
