Highway Patrol identifies crash victims near Tioga

(Tioga, ND) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the two individuals involved in a single vehicle rollover south of Tioga early Thursday morning. According to the Patrol, 24-year-old Bailey Branesky, of Tioga, was northbound on 105th Avenue Northwest when he lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, causing it to enter the west ditch. The vehicle overturned multiple times and Branesky and his passenger, 26-year-old Trevor Almer, of Tioga, were both ejected from the vehicle. Branesky and Almer were both transported by ambulance to the Tioga Medical Center, and later by air ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Miniot, where Branesky later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
