(Fargo, ND) -- Around 600 Cass County Electric Cooperative customers lost power Thursday afternoon.
The utility provider saying that most of those effected were west of I-29 and North of I-94.
"We can confirm that this is not due to the rolling blackouts we've seen in recent days", said Jocelyn Hovland, Communications Manger for CCEC.
Hovland adds the cause is most likely due to equipment failure, and that crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
