West Fargo Schools to Allow More Spectators at Events

(West Fargo, ND) -- High School sports fans in West Fargo have a whole new thing to cheer about.

The Schools has updated its spectator guidelines for student activities following Governor Burgum’s January 27th announcement to lower the state risk level from moderate to low.

Beginning Monday, February 1st, the capacity for events at the high school gymnasiums is set to be increased to 1,000 spectators. A voucher will no longer be required to purchase a ticket, which means spectators can purchase an event ticket at the door.

For middle school activities, two spectators per participant will be allowed at each event or both home and road teams.

The Hulbert Aquatic Center is also increasing capacity to 500 spectators and the West Fargo Sports Arena will increase to 600 in the south rink and 200 spectators in the north rink.

There are, however, still guidelines to follow. Masks must be worn by all fans, and table, sideline, and media personnel during contests.
