The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified of a release occurring Wednesday, April 1 at the CMNU D-407X well, about ten miles north of Keene, North Dakota.
Petro-Hunt, L.L.C. reported Wednesday that 250 barrels of brine were released due to a tank leak. Product was contained within dikes on-site.
A state inspector has been to the location and will monitor cleanup.
