Strong winds and snow along with MUCH colder weather

WOW!!!  What a storm heading our way.  The snow map attached is one of our short term models. It is ONLY a prediction from ONE model  but it has a TIGHT gradient from a LOT of snow and little at all.  The trend in this particular model is decreasing snow amounts in F/M area and dumping 6-10" from Fergus Falls through Detroit Lakes through Bemij...HOWEVER....the new American model as of 8am shifts this heavier snow band into the F/M area. .  A SLIGHT shift in the track of this storm could bring heavier snow amounts into or away from the F/M area.  Very fascinating and powerful storm for sure with severe weather (possible tornadoes) from Twin Cities through Northern Iowa.  After this storm passes, much colder weather tracks into the valley with highs in the teens with another chance for LIGHT snow on Friday and again on Sunday.
