Record HEAT....few storms

What is the #1 weather related fatality?  Tornado?  Hurricane?  Blizzard?  No....it's HEAT!!!  Be careful out in the heat over the next few days. DON'T leave your pets in your car in this heat!!  Stay hydrated.  A good rule of thumb is drink 1/2 oz to 1oz of water per your body weight.  If you weigh 170lbs you should consume approx. 85 to 170 oz of water throughout the day.  Storms will develop in NW North Dakota later this afternoon and ride east along Hwy. 2 through the night.  Some of those storms are expected to be strong/severe. Hot weather continues through Saturday with temps sliding off into the low 90s. This round of heat has been a "dry" heat but the humidity kicks up next week with higher humidity and temps in the mid 90s.   Stay cool
