Hot, Dry, and Windy Today (RFW)... More Rain Tomorrow?... Then a Cool Down

It will be a hot one today for sure with highs in the 80's to low 90's throughout the area but, it will be a tad bit windy... Winds will pick up out of the WNW between 10-20 mph and Gust up to 30. This is why a Red Flag Warning has been issued until 8:00 PM this evening as fire conditions reach high levels.

We will hang on to the breeze for the next few days... nothing new there, and temperatures will drop to the upper 60's and low 70's for tomorrow with scattered rain. Assuming all of it reaches the ground instead of a portion evaporating away before it hits the ground...(virga) much of the area will see a half-inch or less or rain going into Monday. Temperatures drop again to the upper 40's and low 50's for both Monday and Tuesday with more sunshine followed by another chance of rain on Wednesday
