We keep missing crucial moisture...drought conditions continue.

Anothe storm system passes to our south with F/M area just on the northern end of the storm.  Not much precip expected in F/M but heavier amounts for the S. Valley and into W. Minnesota.  Some wet snow is expected to mix in and some minor accumulations are possible tonight from Fergus Falls thru Detroit Lakes.  Temps remain above normal in the 40s throughout the upcoming week but not much precip.  Will this pattern continue?  Quite a few factors pointing toward the drought continuing and expanding.  One of the factors is La Nina.  This is the cooling of the equatorial pacific ocean temps.  This typically brings our area above normal temps and drier than normal conditions during spring/summer.
