Dangerous wind chills....not much snow....cold appears here to stay.

Snow lovers can't like this forecast as there is a "snow donut" around our area with snow to the south, north and east.  In fact, if you are looking for the KEY place to go sledding over the next week, go to the UP of Michigan.  With the arctic air spilling in, lake effect snows are going to be plentiful! Our main concern will be wind chills.  By the end of the week and into the weekend, we are expecting wind chills between -30 and -50.  Now there will be a little light snow this week with an inch or so expected.  Winds will whip that around on Thursday and Friday causing some slick spots but no major travel problems.  If you are traveling this weekend, make sure to have a winter weather survival kit in your vehicle.  You don't want to break down in the dangerous cold.
