NDSU Football 2024 season opener at Colorado moved to Thursday

The 2024 season opener between North Dakota State football and Colorado has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 29.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday and will remain located at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo. Start time and television network details are still to be determined. The final game details are expected to be released at the end of May when the Big 12 and their network partners set their broadcast schedules.

The Bison have a record of 9-4 against FBS opponents, with their most recent game taking place in 2022, a 31-28 loss at Arizona. NDSU holds a 3-1 record against Big 12 teams that includes victories over Kansas (2010), Kansas State (2013), and Iowa State (2014).

The game against Colorado will be the first led by new head coach, Tim Polasek. The Buffaloes are led by second-year head coach Deion Sanders.

Following the Colorado game, NDSU will return to the Fargodome on Saturday, Sept. 7 for their home opener against Tennessee State.
