Timberwolves blow out Suns in Game One

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves blew out the Suns to take Game One of their First Round playoff series at the Target Center on Saturday.

Anthony Edwards scored a game-high 33 points and stuffed the stat sheet with nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Karl-Anthony Towns sunk 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Rudy Gobert dropped 14 and hauled-in 16 rebounds for a double-double. Nickeil Alexander-Walker provided a spark off the bench with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting.

Minnesota leads the best-of-seven series 1-0. The Western Conference series continues on Tuesday night with tip slated for 6:30 p.m. Game coverage will be available on TNT.
