Timberwolves crushed by Suns in regular season finale

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves are locked into the three-seed following a 125-106 loss to the Phoenix Suns at Target Center in the regular season finale yesterday.

The Timberwolves trailed 44-22 after the first quarter and couldn't get back into the game. Rudy Gobert had 21 points in the losing effort while Mike Conley added 17 points. The Timberwolves finished the regular season with a 56-26 record.

The No. 3 seeded Wolves will take on the No. 6 seeded Suns in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs starting on Saturday.
