The Minnesota Twins weekend series opener at the Detroit Tigers has been postponed. The Tigers made the announcement on Thursday morning, referring to inclement weather throughout the day as the reasoning for the decision.
The postponed game will be made up on Saturday, April 13 as part of a traditional doubleheader. Game One will begin at 12:10 p.m. with Game Two set for approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
The Twins and Tigers will now begin their four-game weekend series on Friday evening with first pitch scheduled for 5:40 p.m.
