(Eagan, MN) -- The Minnesota Vikings are adding some more firepower in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Purple acquired the 23rd overall pick for next month's draft in a trade with the Houston Texans on Friday. Minnesota sent this year's and next year's second-round picks as well as a sixth-round pick in the trade, and the Vikings also added a seventh-round pick for this year. The deal gives the Vikings some more ammo as they potentially attempt to trade up to draft a quarterback.
In other team news, Minnesota signed offensive lineman Dan Feeney to a one-year deal over the weekend.
