Third-period outburst leads Wild past Canucks

(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild poured in seven goals in the third period of their 10-7 win over the Vancouver Canucks at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild trailed by two entering the frame before scoring five goals in the first six minutes of the third to take the lead for good. Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek both had three goals and three assists in the victory, while Marco Rossi, Jonas Brodin, Matt Boldy, and Mats Zuccarello also lit the lamp. Minnesota is on a six-game point streak. Minnesota is tied for fifth place in the Central Division with 58 points and a 26-23-6 record.

The Wild visit the Jets on Tuesday night.
