Dragon MBB No. 1 in NABC Poll for first time in program history

For the first time in program history the MSUM Dragon Men’s Basketball Team is on top of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Poll as the No. 1 ranked team in the country!

Before this season MSUM’s highest national ranking was No. 3, which they achieved in the 2014-15 season. The Dragon Men’s Basketball team is the third MSUM team to earn a No. 1 ranking joining the 1981 football team and 1964 wrestling team.

This week they earned 399 points in the poll including receiving 15 of the 16 first place votes. No. 2 Minnesota State Mankato received the other top ranking vote. Minot State and Minnesota Duluth are also receiving votes in this week's top 25 poll.
