Wild comeback falls short in Pittsburgh

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- The Wild overcame a three-goal deficit only to lose to the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 at PPG Paints Arena.

Minnesota trailed 3-0 in the second period before Ryan Hartman, Jake Middleton, and Vinni Lettieri all lit the lamp to tie the game in the third. However, Sidney Crosby knocked in the game-winner just a few minutes later.

Minnesota is in seventh-place in the Central Division with 28 points and a 12-13-4 record. The Wild visit the Bruins on Tuesday night.
