(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild's season is taking another hairpin turn.

The Athletic is reporting that president of hockey operations Bill Guerin has been investigated by the team for verbal abuse accusations. The Wild's HR department hired an independent party to conduct the investigation, and the team concluded that Guerin did not commit an offense serious enough to warrant termination. The report comes just days after the team suddenly fired assistant general manager Chris O'Hearn.

The Wild host Vancouver tomorrow.
