Report: Hockenson, Vikings far apart in extension talks

(Eagan, MN) -- The Vikings are having some trouble locking down their starting tight end.

The Athletic is reporting that the team and TJ Hockenson are still far apart in negotiations for a contract extension. The report says that Hockenson wants "a historic contract extension for tight ends." The Vikings acquired Hockenson at the trade deadline last season. He caught 60 passes for 519 yards and three touchdown in ten games with Minnesota.
