(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Lynx will be without a pivotal back-court player down the home stretch of the regular season.
The team announced yesterday that guard Lindsay Allen is expected to miss multiple weeks with a left thumb fracture. Allen suffered the injury during Minnesota's loss to Indiana last Thursday. The 28-year-old has started 20 of her 29 appearances this season, and she's averaging 6.2 points and 4.5 assists per game.
The Allen-less Lynx visit Seattle on Friday.
