Team USA defeats Spain in Pre-World Cup Exhibition

(Malaga, Spain) -- Jalen Brunson was perfect from the field to propel Team USA to a 98-88 victory over Spain in a pre-World Cup exhibition in Malaga.

Brunson led the U.S. with 21 points, while Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 14 in the team's third exhibition victory. The Americans shot 67-percent from the field and 56-percent from three-point range in the win over FIBA's number-one-ranked team. The USA has defeated Puerto Rico, Slovenia and Spain heading into its final two exhibition games before the World Cup.

The U.S. will wrap up exhibition play against Greece and Germany in Abu Dhabi this upcoming weekend.
