Kobe Bryant named NBA 2K24 cover athlete

(Novato, CA) -- Kobe Bryant will be featured on a pair of covers for the NBA 2K24 video game.

2K Sports unveiled the covers for the Kobe Bryant and Black Mamba Editions of the popular basketball video game franchise Thursday. The Kobe Bryant Edition shows a young Kobe flying through the air for a dunk while wearing his iconic number eight Los Angeles Lakers jersey. The Black Mamba Edition features the Hall of Famer looking back over his shoulder.

NBA 2K24 will be available for pre-order starting Friday.
