(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves could be looking to add a pick to their barren draft cabinet. The Athletic is reporting that the Wolves have been calling other teams to gauge interest in a trade that would net Minnesota a first-round pick.

The team traded away this year's first round pick to Utah in the Rudy Gobert trade last summer. The report added that the Wolves haven't made much progress in their trade discussions.

Their only pick in this year's draft will be the 53rd overall selection in the second-round.
