The NFL could have an annual Black Friday game host

Black Friday could be the next big thing for the NFL. According to league executive Mike North, the New York Jets were one of multiple teams that requested to host the game on an annual basis.

During an appearance on "The Adam Schefter Podcast," North discussed a number of schedule-related topics, including the yearly game on the day following Thanksgiving. North mentioned that the Cincinnati Bengals also lobbied to host the Black Friday game on an annual basis, similar to how the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions host games on Thanksgiving.
