FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball program has added junior college All-American Jeremiah Burke, NDSU head coach David Richman announced Friday, May 5.

Burke comes to NDSU from Iowa Lakes Community College, where he played two seasons from 2021-23. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

“Jeremiah’s knowledge and experience with championship levels of success and, most importantly, his high level of character, make him a great addition to our Bison Family,” said Richman. “With his versatility on both ends of the floor, along with his size and knack for the ball, he will have an opportunity to earn valuable minutes on the floor early in his career here at NDSU.”

Burke, a 6-foot-7 forward from Milwaukee, Wis., was named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Player of the Year and an NJCAA First Team All-American this season after averaging 14.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. He shot 53 percent overall and 39 percent from three-point range as Iowa Lakes won the Region II championship and earned a bid to the national tournament.

The Bison earned their fifth straight appearance in the Summit League Tournament championship game in 2023.
