Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa went back-to-back in the bottom of the fourth to break the game open.

Brock Stewart earned the win in relief after Tyler Mahle left the game after the fourth inning with an injury. The Twins have won four of their last five games.
Vinnie Pasquantino hit his fifth home run of the season in the setback. Zack Greinke was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering seven runs in three-and-two-thirds innings. The Royals have dropped four of five.
Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli met with the media after the game:
"He was feeling some soreness in his posterior elbow."
