NDSU's Nelson named to the USBWA All-District Team

North Dakota State junior forward Grant Nelson has earned a spot on the District VI All-District Team. The team is made up of the top players from Division I schools in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Nelson is only the second Bison to earn a USBWA All-District honor. He joins Ben Woodside who was named to the team in 2009. In total only 90 players are honored as All-District by the USBWA each season, with 10 players from each of the nine different districts.

In 21 games against conference foes, Nelson averaged 19.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game, along with shooting 54 percent overall from the field. He led the Bison in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals on the season.
