MSUM’s Boom and McKeever named to NSIC WBB All-Conference Teams

     Minnesota State University Moorhead senior center Peyton Boom and junior guard Mariah McKeever have earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honors.

     Boom was named to the first team for the 2022-23 season. This now marks the fourth straight season she’s earned all-conference honors. Boom has been a first team selection three times and a second team selection once. She also landed on the NSIC All-Freshman Team in 2018-19. This season Boom averaged 14.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game along with shooting 56.2 percent from the field.

     McKeever found a spot on the All-NSIC Second Team. She led the Dragons with 15.5 points per game and set a career-high with 183 rebounds, averaging 6.8 per game. The guard also shot 37.9 percent from the field. This is the first time in McKeevers career she has been named to an all-conference team.
