UND's Chris Jandric Has Been Named The NCHC Defenseman of the Week

     The National Collegiate Hockey Conference has named University of North Dakota graduate student defenseman Chris Jandric the NCHC Defenseman of the Week.

     Jandric played a large role in No. 3 UND’s sweep over Holy Cross. He tallied a team-high four points in the two-game weekend series including a plus-3 rating.

     He racked up a career high three assists in Friday nights 6-0 shutout win, before adding another assist in Saturday’s 4-1 win.

     Defensively he blocked three shots and helped the Fighting Hawks to a flawless 8-for-8 on the penalty kill for the weekend. This is Jandric’s first NCHC Defenseman of the Week honor.

     No. 3 UND will host No. 8/7 Quinnipiac for a two-game series on Friday and Saturday night.
