North Dakota State women’s basketball head coach Jory Collins has announced the signing of two more players for the 2022 class. Georgia Baldwin from Eastern Kentucky and Leah Mackenzie from Box Hill Senior Secondary College in Mont Albert, Australia have been added to the 2022 signing class.

Baldwin has spent the past two seasons at Eastern Kentucky making an appearance in 11 games. The Melbourne, Australia native also played at Box Hill Secondary College averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game. Baldwin is a 6-foot forward who helped navigate her team to a 41-1 record ending with a 2019 Senior Australian School Championship.

“They were high school teammates and it just made sense for us to try and get both. I love their attitudes and mental approach to the game. I can’t wait for them to get here and to get to work with them,“ said Collins.

Mackenzie is a star on the court averaging 16 points, 5 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game during her time at Box Hill Senior Secondary College. She helped lead Box Hill to the 2017 and 2019 Champions Cup State Championships. The 5-foot-8 guard was also a 2017 Intermediate Australian School Championship and 2019 Seniors Australian School Championship gold medalist.

The pair are joining Taylor Brown, Kristina Ekofo Yomane, Abbie Draper, Elle Evans, Marwa Bedziri, and Abby Graham in the 2022 signing class.
