(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota United have a new roster-builder.

The Loons hired Khaled El-Ahmad as their chief soccer officer yesterday. El-Ahmad was the CEO of Barnsley in the English League One the past two seasons. He will begin his tenure by searching for a new head coach after Adrian Heath was let go in October.
