(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Gophers are on a two-game winning streak after beating the Michigan State Spartans 27-12 at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday.
The Gophers trailed by four late in the first half, but Athan Kaliakmanis hit Daniel Jackson for a 22-yard touchdown with 19 seconds left before halftime to give Minnesota the lead for good. Jordan Nubin added two rushing scores in the second half and ran for 204 yards during the victory. Jackson finished the game with seven receptions for 120 yards and a score, while Kaliakmanis passed for 200 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
The Gophers improved to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten. They host Illinois this Saturday.
