(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota United kept their playoff hopes alive with a 5-2 win over the LA Galaxy at Allianz Field on Saturday.
Hassani Dotson got the scoring started in the 33rd minute, and Teemu Pukki added a goal before halftime. Pukki also scored three goals in the second half to put the match away. The Loons are in 11th-place in the Western Conference with ten wins, 11 draws, and 12 losses for 41 points.
They wrap up the season against Sporting KC on October 21st. In other club news, the United fired head coach Adrian Heath over the weekend.
