(Bismarck, ND) -- The toxic blue-green algae is on the increase in waterways around the state.
The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality has been seeing a rise in the algae.
There are currently nine advisories for bodies of water because of the presence of blue-algae.
They include West/McKenna Lake in Logan County, Green Lake in McIntosh County and Froelich Dam in Sioux County.
