(Houston, TX) -- Royce Lewis wasted no time getting re-acclimated to Major League pitching as his Twins beat the Astros 7-5 in ten innings in Houston. Lewis hit a three-run home run in his second MLB at-bat since tearing his ACL last year, and he added a game-tying single with two outs in the top of the second.

Ryan Jeffers crushed a two-run shot in the top of the tenth to give Minnesota the lead for good, and Jhoan Duran earned his first win in relief after tossing the last two innings. The Twins have won two of three.

Jose Altuve hit a go-ahead grand slam in the bottom of the seventh. Bryan Abreu was charged with his first loss out of the pen. The loss ended Houston's three-game winning streak.

The Twins and Astros will continue their series on Tuesday night with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Joe Ryan is set to get the nod for Minnesota.
