(Atlanta, GA) -- Atlanta's airport is retaining its title as the world's busiest.
Industry group Airports Council International World says Hartsfield-Jackson Airport was again the busiest on Earth last year.
The Atlanta hub, and home of Delta Air Lines, saw 94-million million passengers passing through in 2022. And the competition wasn't even close.
Number two on the list, Dallas-Fort Worth, saw 20 million fewer passengers.
Pre-pandemic, Atlanta would consistently be named the world's busiest airport. That changed in 2020, when an airport in China snagged the crown. But Hartsfield-Jackson jumped back to the top the following year.
In addition to ATL and DFW, Denver, Chicago and Dubai rounded out the top five this time around.
